Did you hire a professional based on a rating on this site? If the answer is yes then you probably have a good idea why this is an important feature of the sire. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t use this feature to hire a professional however. There are new professionals joining all the time and some of them have yet to be rated. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hire them though; they have all been through our comprehensive checks without a problem, so they are already as trustworthy as they are likely to get.

However, if they have no ratings this is an even better reason to rate the professionals you do hire from our site. We need to promote good practice and eradicate Rogue Traders and the only way to do this is to tell each other who the good ones are.

What can be written in the ratings?

You need to tell other site users anything you believe they need to know in order to get your professional more work and to make sure the other users get the professional they need. Your comments will become a valuable resource to tell other consumers why they should hire any particular professional and not a list of negative rants and moans about the poor service you have received; this type of criticism will be dealt with very seriously and any business found not to be following our code of conduct will be struck off the site without question, unless the matter can be resolved amicably.
